High school baseball finals return to Peoria
It took 30 years for small-school high school state tournament baseball to come full circle. But the Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau won a five-year contract in mid-October to bring the IHSA Class 1A and 2A state baseball tournaments to Peoria. And they are headed for home Friday and Saturday, where they will be staged downtown in O’Brien Field.
